Mike "Smidi" Smith - Writer, Producer, Performer
Smidi began his music career competing as a classical pianist at age 9, toured Europe as a jazz pianist at age 18 performing in the Montreaux Jazz festival in Switzerland and the North Sea Jazz festival in the Netherlands. He won a twin scholarship to attend Western Michigan University and was selected as one of two Gilmore International Piano Festival young artists before touring Japan as a classical pianist at age 23. After deciding that a career in classical music was not what he wanted, he followed the advice of some friends in the industry and began to write songs. Since then Smidi has won first place in the Unisong International Song Competition, collected an Emmy, production credit on the multi platinum selling soundtrack and signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV in Los Angeles. In his time at Sony he has co-written and produced songs for Angela Via's Pop/R&B record on Lava/Atlantic, Wea/Latina Spanish record, remixed and produced Willa Ford's MTV single "Did you think about that" and wrote and produced a song for the second album of 2Gether, the MTV boy band spoof TV series.
Early in 2003 Smidi left Sony and started "Smidi Music". Since then he has produced a song for the band "PLAY" on Columbia Records with Kara Diaguardia. (Kara has produced and written for Enrique Inglesias, Marc Anthony and Celine Dion.) The song "Kissing You" co-written and produced for Angela Via is featured in Cuba Gooding's film "Boat Trip". Also recently finished is a project for the band "Stafford" that is currently shopping for a record deal. In addition to the song writing and production work, Smidi has begun writing for and collaborating with several commercial music companies here in Los Angeles and Chicago including Face the Music, Barton Holt, Track Attack, Synchronicity Music and DoReMi.
Smidi's strength is probably his diversity. He has written and produced projects that cover Pop, R&B, Rap, Country, Rock and Alternative. He has been in bands with Ben Folds and Keith Urban, written songs for O-Town, Wild Orchid, Aaron Lines, and Angela Via. He has written with country music writing icons Skip Ewing, Tom Douglas, Grammy winners Kenny Greenberg and Bob DiPiero. He loves to collaborate with new artists to help them find their voice.

Kevin Savigar has a love of music that generates from the likings of the Beatles to American country and from jazz to the classics. Which has guided and influenced him to an endless future...and this is just where our journey begins.
Kevin started playing the piano at age 5 and went on to study classical piano at the prestigious Trinity College of Music in London. By the age of 17, not only was he attending college, but had begun his career as a session musician in the studios of London.
In 1978, Kevin became a member of Rod Stewart's touring and recording band. For the next 10 years he played nearly a thousand shows across the world and began his writing partnership with Mr. Stewart Kevin co-wrote hits like "Forever Young", "Young Turks", "Tonite I'm Yours", Every Beat Of My Heart", and "Passion", as well as many other album cuts. After retiring from the road in 1988, he continued to work with Rod on many other records including "Unplugged and Seated".
In the late 80's/ early 90's, session work occupied a lot of his time. Projects he worked on included many artists such as: George Harrison, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Pat Benatar, Randy Newman, and Sinead O' Connor.
Kevin is now focused on writing songs for artists in the US and overseas. He currently has cuts in Spain, France, Japan, Australia and America and has now joined forces with Graham, the result of which is "Naughty Schoolboy Productions" formed for the joint production collaboration of new and signed artists. Kevin lives in Los Angeles with his wife of 22 years, Sue and their two children Lindsay and Sean.
